Terms & Conditions
The terms of attending a class.
Version 1 · Effective 21 May 2026
This is the agreement between you and the Studio when you book a class, and we have written it in plain, friendly English so that it is easy to follow. If anything is unclear, we would be glad to help, please email info@fureveryoga.com.au before you book.
1. Who we are
The Studio is Brisbane Bernedoodles & Groodles Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 31 657 176 497), trading as Furever Yoga. We operate a single physical studio in Brisbane, Queensland. The exact street address is shared in your booking confirmation, we keep it off the public site because the room is small.
We do not operate other locations. There is one Furever Yoga and it is in Brisbane.
2. What you are buying
When you book a class, you are buying a single seat in that specific class on the date and time identified in your confirmation. You are not buying:
- access to a particular puppy by name;
- a guarantee that any particular puppy will attend (puppies rotate per our published welfare programme, see /about);
- a course of multiple classes (those are sold separately as packs or memberships);
- a service that can be customised on the day.
3. Booking and payment
Bookings are made through this website. Payment is taken at the time of booking via Stripe. Pricing is shown on the schedule before you confirm. Class types, capacity caps, and per-class puppy limits are published on /classes.
You may book on behalf of another person. Each attendee must sign their own waiver before the class begins (our booking flow sends each attendee a one-time signing link by SMS or email). A booking is not a signature.
4. Cancellation, refunds and rescheduling
Full detail is on /refund-policy. Summary:
- You cancel at least 24 hours before class: full refund to original payment method, within 5 business days.
- You cancel inside the 24-hour window: no refund; the seat is held for you and not resold.
- You don't attend (no-show): no refund.
- The Studio cancels for any reason, puppy welfare, weather, instructor illness, AC failure pushing the room above the welfare envelope, or any other operator-side reason: full refund plus a credit for a future class. The welfare framework is non-negotiable; the cost of upholding it is the Studio's, not yours.
5. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee or other right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)) or any other law where to do so would be unlawful. Where the Studio fails to provide the class with due care and skill (a major failure under the consumer guarantees), your statutory rights to a refund or replacement service are preserved.
6. Welfare rules and your conduct
The Studio operates under a published welfare framework (full text available on request). By attending, you agree to follow the welfare rules summarised on the FAQ and in your signed waiver. The handler is empowered to end your participation immediately if you break a rule that puts a puppy at risk. The escalation policy is:
- one verbal correction in a class, you may continue;
- a second break in the same class, your class ends without refund;
- a third break across separate classes, your account is closed and you may not book again.
7. Late arrival
Doors close five minutes after the published start time. Once the puppies are in the room, opening the door is a stress event for them, and the class is not interrupted. If you arrive after the door closes, you forfeit your seat for that class and the refund rules in clause 4 apply.
8. Right to refuse service
The Studio may refuse entry, or end participation, where a person is visibly intoxicated, behaves abusively toward staff or other customers, or has breached a welfare rule that puts a puppy or another customer at risk. No refund applies in those cases.
9. Photography
The Studio's photographer may take photographs and short video during a designated mid-class window. Use of your image is governed by a separate Photo and Media Release that you may opt in or out of at booking. Customer photography during a class is limited to phones-on-silent, no flash, no identification of an individual puppy by its breeder of origin. Re-sharing the Studio's photos for commercial use without permission is not allowed.
10. Transfer of a booking
You may transfer your seat to another adult at any time up to 12 hours before class via your account. The new attendee must sign the waiver before walking in.
11. Force majeure
The Studio may reschedule or refund where storm, flood, blackout, gas leak, council closure, public-health order, or infectious-disease outbreak in the puppy cohort materially prevents the class. The Studio is not liable for consequential loss in those cases.
12. Disputes, law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the law of Queensland, Australia. Before either party commences legal action, the parties agree to attempt to resolve any dispute in good faith for at least 14 days from a written notice. If a dispute is not resolved, the courts of Queensland have exclusive jurisdiction.
13. Severability and changes
If any provision of these terms is held unenforceable, the rest of the terms continue to apply. The Studio may update these terms from time to time and will publish the current version on this page. Material changes are announced at the next booking.
